I used the holes for front signals. Used a bolt and nut, threaded thru and into the signals, then backed the chrome nut up a 1/2 turn to lock the signal in place at the angle I wanted...

Thanks man, like wise...
Tunes are in!
Sony head unit and Boom audio speakers, love it more than I thought I would...
LOL, tough crowd!! Work is getting in the way of working on the Harley.
Right now the bike is in peices so I am afraid pictures won't tell much except that my wife's idiot husband takes W-A-Y to long to finish projects, I mean man he could be at least a little committed. I know he works all day but there is the night time and does he really need to sleep?
Just think if he was really committed the bike would be done already, after all it has been a few days! Think he needs motivation!

Well got the lights all wired up and went to test everything out before installing the fairing and DANG, the right front signal was non functional (right rear works)! I tested the wiring, swapped the right light to the left...not the light housing or bulb. I then put a test gauge on the wires one by one...they all worked. Pulled the right control off and found I may have a loose wire connection inside the switch because for a moment it worked when I held the blue wire. I will start fresh in the early morning by pulling the switch apart and securing the wires inside the switch. Hopefully that will resolve the problem.
I also ordered the Oil Pressure gauge and Volt meter today and picked up the Stereo cradle.
Getting closer!

Here's a photo of forum member "boston joe"s FXDL with a Road Glide fairing to tide you over ...
... of course, it'll look a little different with the Fat Bob front wheel with dual disc brakes, etc. ... also, boston joe has gone and put a Touring-style rear fender and Touring hard bags ...

Somehow I have missed this one. At first glance you could mistake it for a Road Glide.
Yep, a 2" GPS driven Speedo so I don't have to take my eyes off the road, a 2" Tach, Oil Pressure, Volt Meter, a Stereo, and either a Zuma or GPS. Last night before calling it quits I sorted out the turn signal problem to a loose wire in the switch. Today I buttoned it all up and took it for a short test ride...nice! There are 3 small issues, all of which I will fix when I install the gauges and stereo; the head light stays on bright, the windscreen rubber molding needs some glue in one small area, and the stereo cradle rubs the inside of the inner fairing. The Cyclevisions mount which is NOT specifically made for the FXDF required a bit of grinding to clear the Fat Bob forward fuel tank mount because the ears flare out a little I suppose because the tack capacity is a slight bit larger the Wide Glide. I called Brad and Randy and shared this with them. The grinding was grinding a radius with a maximum depth of .25" from the upper tank mount hole down halfway to the lower back bone mount. Below are some photos of the "Fat Glide":
Thanks to everyone for their help and advice!
