dropped mine in the back yard after a thorough cleaning. was wearing shorts and sandals. front tire sunk in a soft spot in the grass and there she went on left side. scrathed up my left leg pretty bad but only got some grass on the derby. but you are right they are easy to pick up after dropping them when you are full of pain and adrenalin

 

One word of advice (based on experience) BUY THE SALVAGE FROM THEM! You will come out W-A-Y ahead of the game by parting out yourself.

It was a good choice to go with the insurance claim i was run off the road in december hit the ditch pretty hard but once i got all the mud off the bike it didnt look like a whole lot of damage so i thought i would save money by not filing the police report and not claiming it well $11,000 later and still climbing i realised that was a bad idea........ glad your ok hope it all works out well for you
