Sorry about the crappy pics, its all I got right now. I have been trying to black out most of the bike with some chrome accents.
Do what makes you happy.

Chrome is your friend, embrace it. First pic is the day I brought it home back in 2009.
The rest of the pics are what it looked like when I traded it in on a Deluxe in 2011.

Chrome has been gradually leaving my bike. Still still have a few items though. Kury Isogrips, rear springs. Left the Loner Industries 2" riser untouched when I had the fork clamps and lowers powdercoated.

Although mine's not an '09, I'm sporting the same look on my motor ... I had the 'blonde' motor and blacked out my top end ...



I stripped and polished my primary, cam and transmission cover ... well, not exactly "polished" ... more satin treatment ... I sanded with 320 grit and then hit with 00 steel wool and some Simichrome polish ...

I like a little chrome accent as well as gloss black ... just have to find what to you is a 'tasteful' mix ...
