Default rocker cover bolt size
can anybody confirm if the rocker cover bolts on a Dyna 2010 fat bob
fxdf are 11mm or 7/16 both are close, but wud rather know for sure..

Rocker cover bolts are 5/16.

Sorry, didn't mean to mislead you. The rocker cover bolts on all the TC I've worked on were 5/16 diameter.

p/n is 3693A. Specs: Screw, 5/16 -18 X 1-3/4 hex head w/lock patch

Bolts are sized according to to the nominal diameter of the shank, not the size of the hex head (wrench size). The rocker cover bolts are 5/16" bolts as the other posters have indicated.

Thanx... my bad.... I was looking for the correct size wrench etc to remove or add caps to these bolt heads....

bump for wrench size is it 11mm??? any easy way to tell whats metric and whats not??

Socket size for this bolt is 7/16 (equals 11.1125 mm). Allen head size in this bolt is 3/16.
