I'd like to find a small bag to fit on the left side at the electrical enclosure. Battery-side bag wouldn't live long due to the exhaust pipe proximity.
Mine has been on the battery for a couple years with no issues. The electrical cover is not bolted on, so don't think that would be a good idea.

Your exhaust is routed very different than mine. The issue isn't just the bag but its contents as well. I wouldn't mount 'to' the enclosure, but over it. That position makes sense to me in that I can reach down to fumble for whatever I'm wanting and maintain throttle control.

Really?!? You want to be able to fumble around in your bag while you ride? Sorry, but I prefer to keep my undivided attention on the road and stupid cagers that are fumbling around for their cell phone and makeup.
