HD Fog Lamp Install
Got a set of these for Christmas. The destructions call for wiring the lamp switch to the low beam wire in the headlight so that the lights will only work when the low beams are on. I almost always ride with my high beams on during the day and I want to be able to run with the fog lamps. The wiring harness has two 12vdc source lines. One (unswitched) goes to a relay; the other to the lamp switch. I wired the switched wire to the fuse line in the lamp harness. I have to manually kill the lights, even with the power off. I'll dig around and find a switched line to tap into sooner or later.

I transfered my fogger from the RG to my Dyna, mounting them on the engine guard. Works great and yes, keyed to only the low beams which works out fine for me. I've found that for my around town riding the low beams plus the foggers are really quite visible during the day.

do you have a front pic of the bike? did you internal wire them threw your engine gaurd ?

Sorry, no front end pix at this time, just this long shotand with our snow not much of a chance(;=)) Did not go with internal wiring, a lot of work for just looks, imho
