Ok I want to lower my superglide
Really only want to go to 11 inch shocks
Rather than 10.5
So my question is should I buy the slammer
Kit with the front fork drop in springs to lower
The whole bike or just but the progressive 412
11 inchers and not worry about the front or
Find a front lOwering kit too
I put Progressive 11 in. on the back and i bought a drop in kit from Progressive for the front, some just lower the back, put your shocks on and see if you like it.
How did it affect the ride?
Also do you like the new stance ?
Can you pm me with the part number
And the cost for the kit and install
The bike seems to "in the road" little more, definitely improvement in handling, i love the new stance, i did not change out the kick stand so once in a while the bike will stand little too upright so watch where you park it.
i did the burly kit front and rear. Burly is a progressive brand som i,m sure the drop in front springs are the same.. I did go with the 1" shorter jiffy stand from JP cycles.
about 30 min! get it on the jack, remove bars, loosen top caps on the trees (there is a little pressure from the springs), remove stock spacer and spring, put in new spring, cut new spacer to length, install top cap and bars, go ridin!! very easy to do
I got the burly slammer kit for the front and rear also. How straight up is the bike with the 1" lower kick stand? I bought the same set up and my dealer said the bike will be really straight and when I try and get it on/off the stand I will have to lean the bike past center to get it up, is this true?
