Kind of looks what the Guys on the West Coast have been building since the Motor Company discontinued the old FXRs. Looks like a good platform for a Dyna club bike.

Well, that explains that...

The 2012s Dynas with the 96 were to use up the last of the parts. 2013s are supposed to all be 103s.

Looks like leftover Superglides (speedo mounted on handlebars) have found a new life!
Pretty sure those are Ohlins on the back, possibly the front too.
Great swingarm!
Dual discs up front.
Exhaust can be changed easily.
If it is only a 96', that can be changed easily too. (thinking 120R.....)

WOW ! What is not to like?

That gap is there for extra clearance. The FXDX (Super Glide Sport) has always had extra clearance for riding hard.

I posted this in another thread:

Looks like an XR1200x with the wrong tins, seat and different mufflers. I also don't think the Moco would write "FXDX" on the the tank- our Street Bob's don't say "FXDB" anywhere and neither does any other model
