V-rod wheels
Does anyone know if solid V-rod wheels will fit an 06 Dyna? I figure the front wheel would be no problem since the forks are the same. The back may be more of an issue however. I know I could just use a Duece rear wheel, but I'm not quite sure I like the ribs. Thanks in advance.
Hec4se,
They will fit ,but you need to put the Vrod Fork sliders on as well for the dual disk setup. This means you can also run the Brembo's off the Vrod as well. Stay away from the front solid disk[04-05] if you can, as they do move around in the wind at high speed.
The rear will fit,but only with a 180 tyre and you will need a bracket made to mount the rear brake. The master cyclinder from the Vrod will be needed as well.
It will not be cheap to do, but i have seen a 06 Lowrider over here with the same setup and it looks awesome. The breaking is obviously much better as well. Good luck
