Good luck bro! Keep your head up. It's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel during tough times. You and your family will be stronger when you get past this difficult time. I have to remind myself to be nice to my wife and children when I am stressed as I tend to act like an a$$ even to the people who care about me.
I sympathize with you, but it's hard to understand what you are trying to say. Did you lose an arm or losing another arm from fighting? Regardless, good luck.
Hang in as long as you can Bro. I was off work for 14 months from a hip injury, and after surgery a lot of painful rehab. Just when I thought I was screwed, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your chin up and keep fighting! You'll get there.
Sucks to hear, been there myself! Two back surgery's in less than a year, and the company I was working for let me go back in November due to "missing too much work". Guess they got tired of paying my short term disability, so now they get to pay my unemployment...lol
there are lawyers that specialize in workers comp. cases. most will work on contingency and sometimes are the only way to get anyone to take you seriously. if you have a good case, some will even help you with living expenses until you get a settlement. look for someone that is board certified in this area of law. and no, i am not a lawyer and do not even like most of them.
+1 to above. Keep smiling brother I was injured at work several years ago and was in therapy (for my back not my head dont want to leave myself open on that one) for a little over two years, up here we have workmans comp. real buggers and you have to sick your lawyer on them reg. As well we have some fine organizations such as Biker Down that will give you a helping hand until you get back on your feet. Be sure to check for all resources and ALLWAYS have a lawyer when talking to any Ins. Or Gov. Organization after all they are the real criminals amongst us. Good luck and keep up the fight.
Get well brother. just went thru 4 months off on broken ankle because of drunken stoopidity. although not as long as others i live at edge of my means. Almost had to sell the OLs heritage. Found out I had disability insurance on a few things and got some reimbursements.
Not saying you havent but dont forget to check any loans or other maybe forgotten investments.
