Has anybody installed the HD 4" or 6" pull back risers on a 2010, 2011 or 2012 Wide Glide? I want to get the bar/grips a little closer to me, but I'm not sure if the 4" or 6" is better and/or which will fit and clear the tank / existing cables / etc. Thanks!
Hello, I was considering the same thing. I found the original solo seat not too comfortable and my wife found the passenger seat down right painful.
I switched to a Mustang vintage seat combo and we found that much, much better. The only problem was, it pushed me back about 1 inch.
Well, at 5'8" with a 29" inseam, both hand and foot controls were not comfortable. I was considering 6" pull back risers (approx $170) & reduced reach controls (approx $150). I returned the Mustang vintage seat and settled on a Mustang 1 1/2" reduced reach Tripper seat ALL controls are perfect now. I woundn't want to use that seat for a cross country trip but, it is fine for short (3 hour) trips.
