I prefer the tried/true Turtle Wax chrome polish. Simple Green to wash and McGuires to protect the paint.

I use Meguiar's products exclusively..
Use Tech Wax 2.0 to wax & the new Wash & Wax Anywhere detailer to detail the bike...I use both on the chrome & paint. I clean with wet microfiber rags & windex
If you get a scratch...use Meguiar's SwirrelX

Not a salesman...just tried everything on bikes & I prefer Meguiar's products.

simichrome is a great chrome surface polish to help rejuvenate the look of chrome that has minor issues.

Everyone is going for Mothers, Mcguire etc. I found the best polish to clean rust and scratch on aluminum and chrome is Autosol. It's cheap too, however I do apply a thin coating of Mothers aluminum polish for maximum protection.

Mothers mag aluminum polish is good especially if the pitting is bad or the scratches deeper. After that I follow up with Mothers billet aluminum polish which seems to be finer and gives a little better shine. I keep it up fairly well on the triple trees so I usually just use the billet polsih and dont have to go back to the mag polish.

I was blown away with "Bar Keeper's Friend". You find it at kitchen supply shops. It's cheap too! It worked great on my aluminum wheels and heads that were stained from hard water. Nothing else worked like the Bar keeper. I tried it on the chrome and wow with very little effort. Not sure about older chrome as my bike was near new.
