Good looking bike! Ride it for a while before doing major mods. It will give you a chance to decide what you like or don't like and will save you money in the long run.

I'm confused though. If the bike is a carb (as stated in a later post), how did the previous owner change the injectors? Also, what cams did he put in?

Personally, I like mods that improve the performance of the bike. If the bike feels underpowered, I'd look into doing some motor work. At the very least, better pipes, a/c and re-jet the carb.

Lowering the bike may not be the best idea, especially if you plan on doing 2 up riding. Going with a better shocks will improve the bikes performance and ride quality.

Good luck with the bike. Ride safe and have fun.

Here are the mods I'm considering in the future what are your thoughts?

12' Roland Sands Vintage Bars
Remove rear turn signals and install a smoked lens LED taillight that has turn signals build in.
Relocate front turn signals to the forks and change to smoked lens or an altogether different turn signal housing.
Lower the rear an inch with either a kit or new shocks.

@BigDaddy33
The previous owner told me about the changes he made when he bought it in 2002. He couldn't remember specifics on the cam. He said he changed the injectors but maybe he meant jets? (I'm a newbie - I'm reading nightly but must admit I do not know a lot about engines). It is definately not fuel injected - has a carb with the enricher ****. I had a harley mechanic ride her and he believes the cam was changed. It has plenty of power and torque (even with 2up) and I'm 6'4" 230lbs. I wil be riding two up for a while 'till the wife gets a bike so I'll take your advice on not lowering. I'm pretty sure forward controls need to be my next move based on my height as I'm only comfortable with my feet on the highway pegs. Thanks for the help!

I'm short so I lower my bikes out of necessity. At your height I'd definitely leave it up. Definitely put some new pipes or slip-ons. A 2in1 looks good and, for the most part, will give you more power than a 2 in 2. Still don't know why people insist on telling others to get rid of the reflectors. Anything that can make you more visibile is good and I don't think they take away from the looks. Until someone mentions it I usually don't notice 'em.

Add an attractive, scantilly-clad model to the photos.

Remove the reflectors and stickers on the frame. Heat gun, some leverage, and some adhesive remover is all it takes.
