Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. They cannot require you to have your bike serviced by them unless it is free. I can also safely say they most likely wouldn't check your spoke torque either (just make sure they are not loose, maybe).

Your choice if you want to do it yourself or allow the dealer to do it.

Thanks for the help, I will definatley be doing my own service then. Plus with the money saved on labor I can buy some more parts!

Not a requirement that they do the service but all of the above and if something should break a dick dealership could try to blame you if they can prove what you did or didn't do caused or contributed to the failure. Just keep good records and buy a svc manual and follow it. Be ready to rip someone a new *** if they even try to go down the road I just mentioned above. Enjoy YOUR bike.

I got mine on ebay for $8.00. It's a CD. Hard copy was like $40-50. Gonna buy one when I find one cheaper/used
