void warranty?

void warranty?
I am about to be due for my first service on my 12 fxdc, if I do all the service work myself will this void my factory warranty? Was told by a couple people that if the first service wasn't done by a certfied harley tech that it would void the warranty. I feel confident doing everything listed on the service other than checking the spoke tourqe, should I just suck it up and pay someone for the first service?

You're missing out on the opertunity to hang around the dealership picking up a few teeshirts, and drinking the "free coffee". I have only bought one new bike I took it in for it's services not because it was the dealer but I knew the person doing the work and was sure everything I was charged for actualy happened.
