Lived there for a number of years, was a wonderful city. Best riding is south of tucson. Patagonia run was.... in a word.... incredible!!! This little green jewel in the middle of the Sonoran Desert. Tombstone, back roads to sierra vista, Summerhaven when its triple digits out. Great riding in Tucson, specially a few rounds after at the Cowpony!!!

I'll have to take a cruise down that way one of these days. I'm always looking for new rides to go on.

Tucson has got to be the best place to ride!! Went from Tucson down to Sonoita then back up through Benson today. Perfect temperature and no wind!! Sorry to those in the states that are having record breaking snow and winters!!!!

Neat things to see, like Old Tucson and Pima Air Museum, but I don't think the city is any fun to drive a car in, let alone a bike, real heavy traffic. Nice ride up that mountain with the telescopes, but to me most of the territory south of Phoenix is just hot and looks the same well down into Mexico, not much fun for riding most of the year for me. Above Phoenix, one of the great states to ride in. If you like off roading, the desert areas are great; I put hundreds of miles out there on dirt bikes. I have to admit, for at least six months of the year I'd trade Frozelandia for Tuscon, snow's almost 2' deep out there right now. That's really no fun.

70 here yesterday and rode. Right now it's in the 20's and sleeting. I don't get it. I'm envious.

Lived on a mining claim south of Arivaca in the seventies. Was open range/ N.Forest back then. I've heard it's populated these days.
