rjk: Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but I'm not interested in trading at this point. Thanks.

Looks like I'm going to have to get used to riding a tall bike again. I was about ready to go with some 12 inch shocks to replace the 13.3 that are on the bike now, when I realized I only had about an inch of clearance between the top of my pipes and the bottom of my saddlebags. I haven't seen any seats that looked like they would lower me much, either, at least not without losing comfort on an all day ride, so unless I can figure out where Herman Munster bought his boots, I guess I'm going to have to start stretching.

Don't know what seat's on it but I've found the seat makes more difference than anything else you can do. There are quite a few seats that lower you an inch or so and are still comfy. Danny Gray Big Seat, C&C Fastback, etc. Never tried a Mustang but they have some that lower you and look comfy. Here's a new Saddlemen model I just saw that looks interesting:

damn you YNOTS!! I was literally about to ask about the fairing! haha

MLZ, I would definitely just change the seat or even get a custom seat made for it before selling that thing.

Some good suggestions here. I kind of like the C&C Fastback (square tail) for two-up riding, but I also ran across a place tonight called Mean City Cycles that will redo the stock seat. I'll give them a call and see what they say. One way or another, I'll get it where I want it. I really love the looks of this bike, and hope to be riding it twenty years from now. Sorry, nothing is for sale.

That's if they make a seat for that year. I found that my only seat choices were from Corbin, Saddleman, Lepera and Mustang. Check out the Lepera ones for lowest height. I was looking more for comfort so can't help with exact results.
