Not sure ! Ive used the Elmers paint pen for years on tires , never really knew there was tire paint ! After looking in the 2010 HD catalog ,Part # 98619, page 771 ,they have a tire lettering pen , Screamin Eagle Orange , calling it a Acrylic ester resin paint !! Priced at $7.95

they HD website only has white available currently. So the Emlers pen is a paint pen?
I will ask Sherwin Williams rep about Acrylic Ester Resin Paint and get back to ya.

I have used it before , except to white letter my tires on my work truck ! I work as a heavy equip operator , so my truck tires see all kinds of abusive elements . They hold up well ! The worst thing out there that raises hell w/ the paint is snow ! And I wont have to worry bout that ! Its like anything else ... it doesnt last forever , but w/ a lil touch up here and there , it will look good for a long time !
