Moonshine Lunch Run
A friend and I drove 450 miles today for a hamburger. In the pouring rain and lightning. What a burger
We joined 1000+ long distance riders from around the country- everywhere from Maine to California- to converge on Moonshine, Illinois, population 2, for the annual April run. Take a look at the website for Moonshine Lunch Run, if you're interested in it for next year. It was a blast. And I had just gotten the Ohlins shocks back from Howard at Motorcyclemetal.com who had rebuilt them after the 25,000 miles I had racked up on them. What a great ride on great shocks. I'll never have to buy new shocks again- they can be rebuilt over and over. By the way, the oil was black with detritus after only 25,000 miles. A lesson for all of us about how important it is to service the suspension components as carefully as we do the motor. Ride safe. And dry! Jay
