Apparently you have never visited Sutherlin or Myrtle Creek Oregon. Non-ethanol gas is also available at the mom and pop stations.

I dunno about 98-100 octane but its the same here in Louisiana for Non-ethanol fuel. Only afew mom and pop shops still sell it. There is 2 here local to me.

One only sells 87 and 89 octane... not sure about the other. Both stations pumps and tanks are probably nearly as old as I am (if not older) so I tend to distrust their fuel more than I hate ethanol lol

In australia we have 91, 95, 98 Octane(RON)and ethanol blend. I think I
will stick to 95 or 98 RON blend.

Unleaded Petrol

A highly refined unleaded fuel for spark ignition engines blended to meet the requirements of modern automotive engines fitted with catalytic converters and designed to run on unleaded petrol. Similar to Premium Unleaded Petrol, it gives easy starting, quick warm up and full power under all climatic conditions. It has an octane rating of 91 minimum, is coloured purple and meets AS 1876.

Vortex 95

Vortex 95 is a high-performance premium unleaded petrol. It is specially formulated to clean your car's fuel system while you drive. Vortex has a minimum research octane number (RON) of 95.

Vortex 98

Vortex 98 has a minimum research octane number (RON) of 98 and is formulated to meet the exacting requirements of the latest engines as well as performance vehicles especially those with high-compression or turbo-charged engines. Vortex 98 is also a higher density fuel. This means it can potentially provide more energy per litre of fuel over conventional unleaded, resulting in an increased number of kilometres you get per tank.

Some confusion here between octane and RON?

US gasoline is specified by octane and most of the rest of the world by RON. RON is roughly 4 points higher than octane for the same type of fuel.

It is confusing, in Australia it looks like RON and octane are the same.
