Default Commander II tires

Got em last week and have only a couple hundred miles on but what a difference. Softer ride, no groove shifting like the dunlops and a lot less shimmy on the front when you hit a bump on a curve. Traction is much better and feels like glue in the corners. Profile seems to be a little taller and rounder on the rear. Also had dyna beads installed and seems to be good so far. I hope the wear is as good as claimed cuz $300+ for tires puts a bite in my budget. I'll post an update later in the season.

Often wonder about tyres, they mainly all feel good when new compared to the half to fully worn out ones we replace. So is the tyre actually any better or is it just that it is new?

These are my second front and fourth rear which have all been stock dunlops. I don't have any experience with others like metzlers, but these michlens have exceeded anything the dunlops had going for them. The dunlops even when new sucked when it came to grooves in the road, any groove no matter what size seemed to grab the front tire. I think because there is no center tire groove that they don't follow the road irregularities as easily.
