what made you not go with the widowmaker industries hand clutch hand shift kit?
I don't want that monstrosity hanging off the side of my bike, LaBriola makes a much cleaner looking tank shift in my opinion. Plus, I'd like both my hands on the bars when coming to/pulling away from a stop.
ill have to check out there tank sift because i had the lower shift on my sporty and liked it but i think the dyna may need a higher shifter for me i am not sure yet but will soon
No less safe than normal. There is a small learning curve, but it doesn't take too long. The only time you have a little less control is coming to a stop if you don't shift to N first or taking off from a stop and turning left. Hills are a little tricky until you learn to use the front brake and the throttle together.
Well thats good be safe and have fun. It looks like a really cool mod.
Agreed, be even more bad *** if there was a way to run an internal brake line thru the bars.
It may be possible to run a pair of internal throttles - one as a throttle the other on the clutch side and roll it forward to act as a brake - would need to think about how to make it work with the hydraulics - do able but not sure how easy it would be to use
You should check out the Rekluse clutches. I ran that in my custom with no clutch at all. You just rolled on the rhrottle and went. To stop it was just a matter of braking until the centrifigul clutch engaged. Dirtbike guys have been using them for a long time to keep their bikes from stalling. It would make that setup 100 times easier. The guys at Rekluse are really cool and will answer any questions you might have also.

How do you rate the Rekluse system, how many miles did you out on it, Amy problems - did you remove the clutch lever.
