I am in need of some opinions. I'm looking at doing something different with my exhaust. I love the sound of my SEII's, (even the one that rattles [:@]) I am not really intobuying an aftermarket exhaust. BUT I can not stand the look of staggered exhaust. So, my "idea" is to have an extension made for my lower pipe with heat shield. I know quite a few people that work in machine shops, so having the fab completed is no biggee. There's a good chrome shop within an hour of me. Just wanted to get some opinions of the look or more so with the fact of the making the lower pipe 8"-10" longer, it shouldn't effect any calibration with the O2 sensors??
Here's a pic that I edited to get an idea of the new look. Keep in mind that there won't be any seams in the heat shield. Thanks Tim
I've done some research on this as I want something along the line of the Jokers Chopper pipes. The problem is in your tuning they keep telling me that the way you STEP the pipes in order to maintain the correct back pressure otherwise you'll suffer a huge loss in power and torque.
I had the SEII's but couldn't stand the way they looked. Sounded fine and performance was good, just thought they were ugly. I think you are going to spend a lot of time and money and quite possibly not being satisfied with the results. If you look there are enough choices out there, but take you time to settle on the right one.
BTW...I sold my SEII's on eBay and got just over 100 bucks for them. Had them for a year, cost me 170 bucks and they were scratched up a bit too so I came out ok on the deal.

Kicks, thanks for reply. That's exactly why I went with the straight cut SEII's with the end caps, can't stand the look of the slash cutsand not not to mention the fact that everyone and their brother has them. I've never actually seen any scoot with the same one's as mine, although I'm sure they're out there. And your right about I might be getting into a money pit situation.
Steel, I understand what your saying but I wouldn't think that 8"-10" would make that big of a difference. But then again I don't know chit!Maybe one of our techs here might be able to shed some light on it.
