Default Throttle play?

I have the 2012 Wide Glide and am wondering if there is anyway to take the play out of the throttle twist grip, it's not much but I'd like to remove as much as I can.
TIA

Al

Use the adjusters on the throttle and idle cables. They are covered by a rubber boot.

make sure you leave some play because when you turn the wheel it changes

After you take out the play move the bars to the left and right stops and make sure the throttle snaps shut.

If you take the bike in for service to a dealer, they will normally reset the play back to where it originally was. At least they did it every time I took one of mine in. I do my own service now, to stop that kind of mess. tp dd50

Set the play with handle bar turned full right, according to service manual.

I found that to be true as well back when I had a service agreement with the dealer, irritated the hell out of me. Never understood why they put so much play in them.
