Well everyone says the night dragon looks smaller than the SE tire and since I'm only changing to get the fat tire look I might as well get the SE tire. I have the Harley chopped fender kit sitting in my garage waiting for install so the 160 rear needs to go.

I have a local small town shop seeing if they can acquire the tire for me...if not I will call my local HD dealer and see if they can at least give 15% off or something. Zepka HD in Johnstown, PA gives 5% off to military all the time but I'm still not wanting to spend $350 for a tire. I guess you have to pay to play though...

seems like a lot more to pay for only a 20mm gain and a lot less mileage..

that $313 also includes a different set of spacers and some other hardware required for the install. when you combine the extra parts and the cost of a separate tire, it's better to go with the kit. I had it done a couple of months ago...

Ok so the $313 comes with the kit? I was told it was the tire only.

Pirelli Night Dragon, 180/60/17 $188.00 free shipping
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...Rear-Tire.aspx

After spending much time looking around, Motorcycle Superstore has the best prices and free shipping. Also, if you take the tire to a metric shop to R&R and balance it's less than at the dealer.

I went with the SE 180. I know it's more but I it's what I really wanted. It's going on my Street Bob which averages 1,500 miles a year so the tire will last a few years. Since I'm doing the chopped fender I wanted the beefiest 180 I could get so why not spend the extra bucks.

You guys are awesome as always! Thanks for your help!

I was going to recommend this place i bought one for my bob in april 2012 for $209.00 FREE SHIPPING had it put on for $75.00 by a local bike shop still cost about $300.00 but the local HD wanted $299 just for the tire. Shipping was super fast I think i got it the next day don't know how they did that but I was very pleased.
