SE 180/60/17 Tire - Anyone know a discount dealer?
So I went to get a new SE 180 tire for the bob and I was shocked that it costs $313.00 + labor..talking $375.00 installed. I would like to get one shipped to me then take it somewhere else. Does anyone know a place online that I can buy it at a discount? I know people were getting them for $215.00 last year.
Thanks!

It figures...after hrs of searching I find a discount place 15 minutes after asking you guys. I found the SE tire for $266.86 with free shipping from Team Latus HD. So far that's the cheapest.

I just picked up a new GT502 180 rear from the dealer a couple days ago ( I am usually very anti-dealer...). Originally I ordered it off of New Castle HD's website for 248.00 on 4/6/12. I had ordered a couple other items along with the tire, one item was back-ordered, and it haulted shipment. I really needed the tire by this weekend and called my local dealer (Yankee Harley out of Bristol, CT). I asked the parts guy how much they whacked for one, and he said $313, but if I bought it through them and had the dealer do the install, I would get 15% off the tire, and the install, mount and balance would be free. Sounded like a good deal to me so I cancelled the tire from my New Castle order and bought the rubber from the dealer and they installed it that day. I was waiting for some "pop-up" dealer fine print charge, but sure enough the total install was free, and the tire was 15% off. In the long run, for once the dealer was actually the cheaper route imo.

After looking long and hard for this tire online I broke down and bought one from the dealer 377.00 installed.Weekend was coming up fast and I didn't want to take off on a bald tire. From what I can see Dunlop only sells these tires at Harley dealerships.

Try Surdyke Harley Davidson. I look about 2 months ago and I think they where in the $250 range with free shipping.

I don't think you'll find that particular tire anywhere but a Harley dealer. I bought mine from Latus when they had them on sale for 235.00.
