Hey everyone, I'm sure this dead horse might'vr been beaten plenty of times on here, but I couldn't find an answer by searching so...
I am thinking of adding a modular helmet to my collection for the cold and rainy rides we get here in the Pacific Northwest and I found the Bell Revolver on sale for $80. I am curious if anyone has experience with this model? I am hoping it has good peripheral vison because I had an older FF and I had a pretty big blind spot when wearing it. I'm not trying to break the bank as I usually wear my NovDot or Fulmer 3/4.
Any reviews would be really helpful. Thanks.
UPDATE: Thanks to those of you who gave me the heads up on this lid. I ordered the helmet from Motorcycle Superstore last Tuesday night and it got here two days later. I rode with it this morning for the first time and I love it! It's a little noisy, but its quieter than any of my open face helmets. The best part is, it was $80, and for another $10 I got the chin curtain and strap hole plugs (which come stock with the new EVO version of this same helmet that costs $200. There were a couple other small changes made, but the chin curtain is the main difference) and it put me over the free shipping threshold, so all together I basically got the Revolver EVO for half price with free two day shipping! If you're in the market for a modular helmet- and you wear an XS or S helmet size, you should scoop up this deal before they sell out. When I got mine they still had black, white, silver, hi-viz yellow, and the dual stripe rally design left.

Reason: Update
...there's a lotta wind noise inside the first year's Revolver. The whole deal w/ the 2nd year's EVO was to go quiet. I'd love to know how successful they were...
I have one - good deal for "economical" modular helmet & very functional. Agree w/the noise-level, though...so much I ended up wearing my earplugs w/this helment. If you can deal w/the airflow (louder than std FF, or spendier modular), it's worth the $80 price...IMO.
Thanks for the heads up on the wind noise. I can't see it being worse than my NovDot, so that's not a deal breaker for me. How is it for peripheral vision? Can you see to the sides of you while riding well enough for a FF/modular helmet?
Sorry - meant to comment on my 1st response. The revolver has very good peripheral vision...equal to, or better than my Sparx SX07 & Scorpion EXO400. I'd say it's pretty much the same as any FF on the market. Enjoy!
a buddy of mine has one and said the wind noise is a little better than the bell arrow but for 80 bux its a pretty sweet helmet....i have the bell arrow and am happy with it..
