Wow, I'm impressed by all of the great answers (only 1 dick). I expected a ton of macho BS. Seriously, she probably went through hell just waiting for you to find out what happened. Tell her you're glad she wasn't hurt, ask her if she can think of a better place to park it, and use it as your "get out of jail free" card in the future.
I'd do what any other married guy on the planet would do.
Apologize.
Good answer, especially if your password has been compromised

Tell her you are sorry that you left it in her way. Bring some flowers, chocolate and a gold trinket. Promise never to do it again.
That has worked for me over 55 years of marriage.
After apologizing, which is what she wants to hear, I would come up with some story about how having a scratched something or other causes undo wear and tear on the motor and needs to be fixed. Then I would go onto to say "well really, aftermarket performance versions of this and that are actually cheaper than the stock" and she would probably believe me. Then I would go into "we sure could use the rewards points on the credit card..." and then she would know I was full of ****, but it would have been a good effort and I would have planted the seed for the future.
You could probably get her to cook for you in apology.
All kidding aside, I know that if my wife did something like drop my bike she'd feel so bad about it that I'd feel bad even talking to her about it. Assuming she feels sorry about it, its time to move on and use it as an opportunity for some upgrading.

Ya, sounds about right.
Considering this bike has all of 475 miles on it I think she'd probably be crying when she told me, I ask her if she's ok, then how much damage?
Better chance than not, the pipes were damaged, air cleaner, and maybe the cams got chipped, all needing replacement..(that about it for a stage two kit?)
I think maybe the Lowrance depth finder in the boat died too, and needs a new side scanning Hummingbird unit...come to think of it.
35+ years of marriage, after that I'd stil keep her....she has done the same for me ..
