Don't get hung up on forward controls. You don't have to *stretch out* to be comfortable, nothing wrong with bending your knees. I personally like to *stand up* a little when I come to an obstacle like a RR crossing or a speed bump.
Oh I gotcha but my legs are bent more than a 90 and need a little more relief. Do y'all realize just how gut wrenching buying a new Harley can be, terrible, just terrible, grinning.
I am 6'3" with a 35" inseam, I am ok with the standard forward controls. If my legs start to get cramped in longer rides I just rest my legs on the peg to stretch them out a little. My Dad is 6'6" tall and they cramp him a little but he still is not uncomfortable.
try both bikes back to back , but also try a fat bob as well , they are all great bikes , but you will find one will suit you and your riding style better than the other 2
a black wide glide with flames is a real head turner , the denim black street bob has the best retro cool looks , and the fat bob will out handle both of those bikes and stop a lot better as well , some one will argue about that , but that was my impression of the 3 amigos , i bought the fat bob purely on the handling and comfort , it just felt right for me ,
but like i said , there all great & you,ll have fun test riding them

I appreciate al the advice guys, thanks Also, if you upgrade with a aftermarket exaust will you have to remap the fueling?
NO , as long as its a 2007 bike or later , you can do pipes with baffles and an A/C without a fuel mod ,
but if your just after a nice Harley sound , i can recommend Rush slip ons ,
Ive got there slash down slip on mufflers , they look the same as stock which i like but sound very nice ,

What he said. I do the same thing and it's just fine. I'm 6'1".
And want Joe said, add some apes and it'll fit you like a dream.
I rode a Street Bob at a Demo Days today. I immediately didn't like it because of the mid controls, it was more cramped than my Sportster with forwards....good to hear you can get forwards, I liked it otherwise.
