And want Joe said, add some apes and it'll fit you like a dream.

Congrats and welcome to the brotherhood.
That's what i really liked about the Street Bob was the handlbars in comparison the the Super Glide and Wide Glide. I also liked the seat to, just felt more comfortable than the Glides. I guess with my height the apes were just in the right position and i wouldn't want them any higher. Right now i'm undecided on which bike to get but will make a decision soon.

I'm 6 ft., 225lbs and ride a 12 Street Bob.Have 16" apes, forward controls and a mustang seat w/back rest.I think it's awesome.Fast.comfortable,and handles great.Get yourself a detachable windshield for those days you will need it (used ones are sold all the time here.I got mine here for like a hundred bucks, you would have thought it was brand new)I also kept the mid pegs so I have another place to put my feet.
The only minor draw back imo is no bags.Sure you can put bags on,but again imo this bike does not look right w/them.I have a small swing arm bag that's good for a couple of small items but that about it.
I came off a 06 RKC,so I was use to loading up my bags w/just about anything I wanted. But I have no regrets. My SB is great. And when I need to do the out of state ride or over night thing.I'm gonna put a motherwell rack on the back and buy a iron riders bag to take care of this small problem.End of trip bag and rack come off (might keep rack on it looks pretty cool imo) and SB becomes street fighting Dyna again ready to attack every bar in town!....Main point here is,"With the mods I put on I'm very comfortable and happy w/the Street Bob." Good Luck.

Tough choice. Super Glide is the best bang for the buck, ya get more; WG and the Fat Bob are usually about 1500 Benjamins more than a Super or a Street Bob- ya can do forwards, exhaust and maybe a better seat and rack for around that on the SB. Fat Bob does have the brakes, wide glide front end, and a fender strut long enough to accommodate real saddle bags ( kinda ugly though, no offense meant to those that have that otherwise great Dyna).

I love the way a wide glide looks and definitely need the forward controls but just didn't like the seat and handle bars. Thats when I sat on the Street Bob and said this bikes for me. I will be using the bike for commuting to work about 30 miles round trip and weekend fun.
I just purchased a 2012 Denim Bob. I'm six foot and went with the black forward control. Much more comfortable on long runs. Took it on a 3 hour ride and the forward controls made all the difference. I tried the standard controls and my thighs were killing me after 5 minutes.
