What motorcycle riders know that cagers don't
I was out for a ride this weekend and did a short stretch on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. You couldn't see them from the road, but the smell of honeysuckles was really strong.
Only someone on a bike would know that. Got me wondering what else people on bikes know (or experience) that cagers wouldn't ...
Why dogs stick their head out the window (old joke)
The bottom of the hill is 30 degrees colder than the top of the hill
What a mayfly tastes like
Wet grooved pavement and steel bridge grating can be some scary s&%*t
the excitement of an SUV full of kids, faces pressed against the window to get a view of your ride
the "wish it was me" look from the guy in the minivan passenger seat, wife at the wheel yapping away
"The Wave"
There's a lot of different kinds of "The Wave" - the point, the peace sign , etc
What it feels like to hit the perfect lean in a corner you've never been around
What else ?

or about anything else concerning the position of their vehicle and any other on the road . had one do the typical swerve across 3 lanes of traffic at the very last second to get off at an exit this weekend . we were far enough back that it was ok , but i'll bet there was some spilled coffee in at least one of those other cars
