Today in history 1929, Walter Chrysler founder of Chrysler corp was on the cover of Time magazine as Man of the year.
So a picture of your bike in front of a Chrysler Dealership,(gotta see "Chrysler" on a sign), and it would be nice to see green trees in the photo too.
Interesting article about that. Looks like Fiats would be considered Chrysler's, too. Any of those around you?
I haven't seen any of those yet but I've seen plenty of the 500s.
Another popular Chrysler that I'd forgotten about is the 300, since Aussies generally like larger 'family' sized vehicles. It turns out there's a Chrysler dealer not too far from my place... Chrysler/Jeep/Fiat etc are usually a sideline to other more established Aussie brands such as Holden (GMH) or Ford.
I was initially thinking of the Australian Chrysler company that sold out to Mitsubishi in the early 80s. It was weird seeing full size Chrysler vehicles with the Mitsubishi badges (Chrysler did sell some Mitsubishi commercial and 4 cyl vehicles re-badged as Chrysler in the 70s & early 80s).
Interestingly, Mitsubishi (and Ford & Holden) have now also stopped making cars in Australia (or are about to cease production).
I was quite a fan of Chrysler products from the 60s and the Aussie Chryslers of the 70s. They were bullet proof!
We haven't had much snow and it's 40 degrees today so got another 15 miles of break in on the new top end.
