I have made a couple other changes, you can't tell but I did the K&N Backplate replacement which is 360 degree High Flow, but uses the Harley Faceplate. Also a detachable back rest and "Switchback" Front Fender Badge.
The C&C seat is very nice. Does sit me back and down more than stock. It is more molded to the form of the bike than the stock seat which just sits on the bike, so it is slightly narrower.
I didn't have any vibration with the stock exhaust, and don't have any now. My pipes are Cobra Slashdowns, and sound great. I think they're a little narrower than than the V&H.
The Klock Werks windshield is a very different feel, but as I stated somewhere else, it's larger, wider, and closer to the headlight than OEM, so it could just be the size.
Definitely less turbulence coming through at high speeds. Not sure if it's the "flair" or the size difference.
I do feel more drag pushing down on the front end which does seem more stable at 80+ mph.
Looks cool with the curves, but I still get good airflow to my face and body. Being larger than OEM I now look through the top of the windshield instead of over it. It doesn't matter, I've ridden both ways.
Curious... what is the model number of the windshield and about how tall are you?
As I posted on 1HD1C's thread with his new batwing I love the Switchbacks! Your bike is awesome. I had a custom C&C Fastback seat on my Heritage and it's the best seat I ever had. Had to leave it on the bike when I sold it as the stock seat & pillion were in storage out of state.
