I went the FLD route with mine. The Wyatts are a little higher and further back. Also you may be looking at exhaust/heat shield clearance issues with either....

I started the "OP" on the FLD boards on a Dyna... here on the forums. I'll look into pulling it up for you if you like.

Oh, and by the way; to answer your question, I really like them! no regrets at all. They look like they should of been there the whole time and, are really comfy for the long haul.

Hope this helps,

Best wishes....Tim(HT)

I went with the HD FL boards. I ended up grinding the right rear mount to clear the V&H Staggered pipes. I prefer the position to others I found however on extreme angles in tight curves I have dragged the boards which I have lose so it doesn't effect the handling. I have seen other pans with less of a rectangle shape which would offer more clearance in tight curves.

Romeo had the Wyatts on his Custom and knows a lot about them. Too bad he hasn't chimed in. I'd pm him if I were you. I'm looking to do the same thing but I want the heel-toe shifter when I do it. Being higher and further back wouldn't hurt me. When I finally do it I'll definitely check with him as well as searching for all related threads. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

I would probably consider the height of the floorboards over everything else though. If 6 feet tall or taller, I would not even consider the Wyatt System.
I have to agree with AFMM3 here. I'm 5'10, have a 31" inseam and wear a size 10-1/2 to 11 boot depending on brand. If you're taller, the Wyatt's will feel too high and your legs will feel crunched at the knees. If you wear a larger boot, your foot probably won't fit between the pegs of the heel/toe shifter.

As far as fit and finish though, there are no issues with the Wyatt's
