I am looking at installing a stabilizer & wanted to check what the options are, I know True Track has a product for the Dyna, and some others like bagger brace do not, which companies make a stabilizer for Dynas?
Sputhe also makes a similar product for Dyna's. You can read about it here. When the time comes I will get one or the other. I am not sure which I will do but True Track is located less than a mile from my house so it's really a no brainer.
I actually felt it for the first time today on a fast highway sweeper....and it was not comfortable! The back end kinda feels like it's wallowing around! Think I am looking at the sputhe set up in the future!
I'm actually really curious on this topic. I've never actually considered this kind of stabilizers. Who has them installed? And how much of a difference do they make? And are they worth it? Compared to just having fork braces?
I know I've had the back end wobble on me a few times. I stiffened up the rear shocks 3 clicks, and that seemed to help. But I'm definately interested for a better solution. Wobbling through twisty mountain roads doesn't sit to well with me. At all.

Yeah, an engine mount stabilizer will really work to improve handling stability on your rubber mounted bike; stops lateral movement in the engine/transmission mounts. Look at your swing arm- notice how
it's mounted to the tranny, which is mounted to the frame via a rubber isolated mount? What happens to your rear wheel when the rubber compresses to the sides? The wheel moves sideways. Result: sloppy handling. Get one, you'll be glad ya did ( very pleased with the Sputhe unit on my Street Bob, imagine the True Track is just as good, or perhaps the Alloy Art).
Thank you Loner, that makes sense and very helpful. Sputhe is right down the hill from me. I'll have to stop in there and check it out. In the mean time, looks like I'll have to lose the silly vapor canister.
