Default Lowering my Dyna

Hi,

I have a 1992 Daytona Dyna Glide. I want to lower it a bit and put baby apes on. Which lowering kit should I use?
I can't seem to find the correct part #. I have found part #DS-221462, but this is not suggested for FXDB.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

also, would 8" apehangers greatly affect my handling?

thanks,
Sean

you should be good with anything up to 12 inch apes for handling. I have 12 in. wild one outlawz chubbys and they are excellent . bike handles like its on rails. You could go with progressive shocks and lower the bike about an inch. I think they sell either 11's or 11.5 if I remember correctly. they also have a fork lowering kit (fork springs).. Some guys have used Burley shocks with success also.
