Default lowering blocks ?

i wanna lower the back of my streetbob by bout inch or so i know obviously the best way is with lower shocks but funds aint gonna allow that ! what does everybody think about lowering blocks?

I have used them on Honda and Kawasaki and they worked okay for me. haven't used them on a Dyna though.

They work great. Might have to bump the preload up a notch on the shocks but I'm happy with them.

I installed them this past Friday, for the very same reasons as you. I tightened up the presets on the shocks one notch.

Love 'em. Got the look I wanted and saved some dough.

+1 on that. I ran them all last riding season. No problems. However I did have the shocks on the lowest level and felt some rubbing with the lady on it. (130 lbs.) Me 200. But a couple of clicks up when riding 2up and its fine. Go for it.

They do what they are designed to do and if money is tight it's the way to go. But no match for some nice progressives. Go with the lowering blocks until you can afford the shocks then resell the blocks.

I like them better then the shocks..ive had both.I got mine from lbm on ebay..they were 50.00. heres some pics....i also lowered the front 2" the rear i lowered 1".
