The reason I narrowed it down to these 2 were to leave me options for future upgrades. I just ordered the Power Vision from fuel moto. Thanks for all the fast input. I guess it came down to not wanting to go to the dealer every time I change something.

Me too. I still want to get a tuner at some point to optimize power and fuel economy.
i can't help but wonder if sometimes the XIEDs are putting extra fuel for no reason. My mileage seems low mid-low 30s, mix of city/hwy

Was pleasantly suprized when I found a powercommander tucked under the seat of my bike. Have it fattened up a bit and it runs strong. Saved me 100bucks when I had dealer install V-Rod injectors for HD drivability campaign. Bike already had SE filter and slip ons.
