saw this thread the other day and order some up. Kinda cheesy but kinda cool at the same time. I love the look, but damn that back wheel was a fuggin pain in the ***
Well i recieved the spoke wraps and put them on this weekend, kind of a pain in the **** to do the rear wheel but not bad. I cant really decide if i like it or not. Its not real noticeable. Let me know what you think.
I think they look sweet brother.. They give a little contrast. Great job. I think I might jump on the band wagon and pick up a set. Did you take off the wheels? Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated. Cheers-
hell yea I'm going to give these a try. Should look good with my black rims and black spoke wrap. pics to come after install! Thanks for the idea, def worth $40 to give it shot and change the look of my bike. Hell, I just spent that on a case of beer and lunch today........
I did mine last year, still look like new - shine up with a little WD-40 on a rag like the manufacturer says. Cant see the split at all either. Back wheel was a bitch though. I had to use a ratcheting cargo strap around the swingarm to pull the spokes apart just enough to slide them on.

as far as I could go today, I just about gave up on the rear, cant get the spokes to spread apart enough to slide these bitches on.......any helpful tips??
rear covers coming along better now that I cut them a little shorter than full length all the way to rear hub....seems like another 2hrs and I should be done with rear hopefully......damn these suck installing

Finally got the rear done.....f that again....I finally found out if I cut the wraps just short of where the spokes cross right by the hub it made installation a lot easier.
