Quick question- I have a 2007 FXDB and plan on getting some 13.5" Works Trackers to upgrade the stock shocks (which are 12"). I believe that I will also have to raise the front to compensate. What will I need to do to raise the front? I was also going to pick up some Works Triple-Rate Fork Springs so I'll have it apart anyway. Sorry if this question has been answered before but I certainly couldn't find it! Thanks guys!
The front of the bike is already higher.
According to the engineer at Works suspension.
I also have the triple rate front springs but have 13" trackers in the rear.
The stock height is 12.6"
13" puts me perfect level. I removed an inch off the preload spacers using a large tubing cutter.
I don't think it will matter much with 13 1/2".
I also have the intimnators installed and Amsoil 10wt.
I did an off road hill climb and coming straight down I anticipated to have a good bump but no it was smooth, I couldn't believe how smooth the landing was.
no one else followed with their baggers.
Not enough difference to worry about, lots here have added longer shocks and left the front end alone at least as far as ride height goes. Put some Ricors and Amsoil fluid in there and call it a day.
