I like the Fat Bob ok and my dealer has a 2009 Sunglo Red 11,402 miles at $10,750, think that is a pretty good price? I just can't quit staring at that dadgum Super Glide, just love it
Thats a nice bike for a nice price, with at least 1500 worth of extras including extended forward controls.
ill tell you how i picked mine.( i wanted a fat boy) I drove a fat boy,fat bob, wide glide and a heritage.... the fat boy and heritage were instantly elliminated due to my agressive riding style. Then no matter what else i looked at i found i keep looking at the denim black fat bob with a big smile.... i drove it home later that day. I still cant stop smiling.
so basically if you cant stop staring at the SG , GO GET IT!

This is exactly why I'm pulling the trigger on the SG next week. I've contemplated several different models and just keep coming back to the ol' Super Glide. Just something about it that sings to me.
Get what you find the most appealing, regardless of what anyone else thinks. You're the one paying for it...
I talked to Mike about that Fat Bob and he said the bike has a Screamin Eagle exhaust. Is the Screamin Eagle Exhaust open or is it Cat and baffled? Also what does the Screamin Exhaust sell for these days?
I liked the SE exhaust so much I put it on my Streetbob. I used an '08 Fatbob catless header and went with a PCIII (Programmed by Jamie at Fuel Moto) and Big Sucker. I also like it because it's not too loud. The Fatbob has the bigger front tire and the red is great. Lots of choices. You didn't mention considering a Streetbob. I'm assuming it's because of it's mid controls? Don't want to muddy the waters. As someone else said, if the SG is top of mind go with it. You'll love whatever you decide on!
