Default short shot quiet baffles
do the quiet baffles get rid of that tinty sound on the shortshots? help reduce any of the decel popping?

The quiet baffles will deepen the tone and give a much better sound.

I have had these pipes and i believe they sound crappy without the quiet baffles...which are not really quiet, they just bring the tone down where it sounds better.

Definitely love the sound better with the quiet baffles, but it hasn't changed the decel pop at all.

Had SSs on my 1st Streetbob. Had the QBs from the getgo and I liked the sound.

I have the BCT quiet baffles. Sounds much better. Got rid of the tinny sound. I don't think they are much quieter, just deeper.

Same deal with the striaght shots. The quiet baffles deepen (improve the sound quality) but don't really make it quieter. Experiment with packing if you want to fine-tune your sound. The popping on decel is probably an air/fuel management issue.

Big City Thunder or Smartpartz

Had an email discuss with both and both say the quiet baffle they make will knock 9-10% off the volume and will give them the deep sound you want.
V and H quiet baffles do f/a for noise...about 3 db if u r lucky.
