Question Question for the experts.

I just changed the front wheel to a 52 monster spoke wheel to get away from the black rims and was going to go with a Deuce rear wheel in chrome. Harley offers one for the rear in 17x4.5 which they say will fit on my bike (with the adapter kit which I assume includes the correct spacers). I was also thinking of going with the matching rear wheel to the front, but with radial spokes I was concerned with the torque against them with no crossing spokes. So, firstly, has anyone had experience with radial spokes on the rear as far as reliability, and second, is the stock WG rear wheel a 4.5" as I've heard a 180 tire requires a 5.5" rim. Thanks for any help!

I wouldn't worry about using the same style spokes on the back. It is a smaller diameter so it handles torque better and your front brake transmits more torque through the wheel than your motor can under acceleration.

Good point, I didn't think of that.

OK, one more. Does anyone know if an 07 or newer soft tail has the same hub width as a Dyna? Was also looking at a newer Fatboy rear wheel to get into the 6" width rim. Not worried about the total swing arm space, just the pulley to rotor spacing.
