FXD or FXDX tins, FXDL fenders will work but the tank is different. The years that will fit your bike are 1996-2003

colormania?

I got my tins painted by them, decent transaction. Took a bit longer than they said. The paint work is solid although it seemed very soft and scratched easily for the first couple months, I would have thought they would have baked it on to harden it.

If your tins are in decent shape, you will be way better off painting them vs buying new as far as money goes. I bought a new tank when I switched colors, mine was in perfect condition, but I wanted to do the FXDL tank conversion to move the gauges down to the tank console.

Ant tank that has the same console configuration will bolt right up, if it has a different console it will still bolt up but you would need the new tanks console most likely and a little wiring change possibly.

What bars does it have now? Are the cables tight or do they have some slack in them?
Kinda need information to give you an honest answer.
