Smile No Beer was consumed while installing this.
There just wasn't time. However, a torque wrench and lock tite were used for safety.



I considered stopping at this point for a beer. getting the crash bar and bike on the garage mat was hard work. But I decided I wanted to ride when I was done, so I pressed on. After something like 15 minutes everything was done, torqued to spec and ready to ride.



Sorry for the bad pics, cell phones are crap in low light especially with all the chrome and reflectors... Anyways, I'm out the door to ride!

Have two beers after the ride.

I know the necessity of engine guards but dang I don't like the looks of them.

X2 ... Not my thing, I would have just had some beers and forgot about the engine guard ... Not for me.

I don't like them either, but I'm practicing my low speed stuff and my wife plans to learn to ride on Fat Bob... Don't tell me get her a Sportster or GZ250 Her mind is set and once it is well, she'll get it done and no sane person should even attempt to get in her way.

Ride is done and the Diet Mt. Dew and Citron is flowing!

Good job. If you like it, that's all that matters. Now you have some options for lighting and some highway pegs. I'll be putting one on myself when I get a chance.
