Daytona Twin Tec II tuner w/O2 eliminators
Problem started a few months ago. Occasionally, when I go to start the bike in the morning or after it's been sitting for hours, it takes forever to start.
Turn the key on, turn RUN switch on, wait for light to go out and hit the start button. Starter cranks fine but the engine just won't start. If I stay on the starter for around 30-40 seconds it will eventually start up and run fine.
19 times out of 20 I hit the button and it fires right up, but sometimes it decides it doesn't want to. The CEL isn't lit up, so I'm assuming there's no codes in there, put I haven't actually checked yet.
I would guess its the tuner. I'm not familiar with that tuner. Is it a piggyback tuner that can be unplugged? Some people with piggy back tuners say to not wait for the idiot light to go off but to hit start right away.
I know with a PC3 on mine it starts a lot easier if you don't wait for that silly check engine light to go out. I still don't know why people think you have to wait for that thing to go out before you can start the bike.

I have a SE Performance Tuner installed with the above setup and I am having a similar issue - in that I wait for the light to go out, then hit the start... I'd say about 4 out of 5 times it starts fine... but then every once in a while, it'll take a bit longer (3 seconds +/-) to start-up... Sometimes when it's hot, sometimes when it's cold...
