That's the main reason I'm debating which pipes to go with. Don't want to cops called. I don't know if a set of Big Shots or anything else would be a whole lot better anyway. I just won't open it up going up the drive between buildings in the morning. There's a bunch of fellow military there too and I'm pretty friendly with the ones that aren't. If I get a ticket and/or evicted I'll let you know haha.

Go with the pipes you want, just keep the throttle down when close to home.

I'd recommend you go with a tuner also instead of the fuel pack. Much more control.

Like others have said, a little common sense and light on the throttle will make most pipes quiet enough.

I thought from what I've heard so far, the Rinehearts were quieter at idle/low speed, but I haven't had a chance to compare very many pipes so far but the TH's (2) I've heard were quite a bit louder..maybe they were unbaffled?

It'd be nice if you could find a few bikes with the pipes your thinking of and actually hear them, lot of money for a set of pipes just to find you don't like them.
Good luck.

This is why I love these forums. Thanks for all the comments. I'm looking closely at tuners now. I'll keep doing some research and take my time before I make a decision. Thanks again, everyone.

The Big Shots are going to be pretty loud. Louder than a TH. I had em on one of my bikes and I kinda felt like a douche getting my bike in/out of my neighborhood. Plus it's not a very "performance" oriented pipe.
You also made mention of the FatCat. That's another loud pipe. Also one the worst sounding pipe I've ever had. I know a lot of guys like em but I hated mine.
The V&H ProPipe has a really nice deep tone. Easy on the neighbors if the rpm's are kept in check. Great torque monster pipe. I have em on both my Street Glide and my Super Glide. As much as I like the pipe, I would not recommend it for Dyna applications(FatBob would be an exception). They hang rather low and drag/scrape really easy on righthand turns.
Someone mentioned a SuperTrap. That would be a great choice. Tunable performance & sound. My engine builder like this pipe because of the lack of LEO attention it draws (relatively quiet). Plus it's one of the best performing pipes available.
One more pipe that is worth considering...The Samson Powerflow III. http://www.samsonusa.com/C2-321.html
Sounds good, doesn't seem loud, doesn't hang low, fair price

Don't have one yet, but after reading a considerable amount over at HarleyTechTalk in the tuning section, TTS mastertune will be the tuner I buy, will keep up with anything I want to do to the bike, and the Vtune feature gives you an easy way to optimize your tune at first before you delve into the more complex stuff.

I've got the V&H big radius and if you don't go nuts on the throttle it's not that loud, different story when you let er rip.

I'm definitely looking at the Supertrapps too. Those look like a pretty good option. I guess if it was right now it would come down to the T-header and the Supertrapp. How is the performance compare between the two?

Based on dyno sheets I've seen, the SuperTrapp will have quite a bit more torque and a couple of hp up to 4K and then they even out.
