My switchback has just over 1000 miles as of right now. I'm waiting for my first maintance on Wednesday after that is done I'm putting a power commander 5, big sucker a/c and samson shorties on it. Once I have this all put on I will post a pic. Its nice to see other switchbacks for some great ideas.
The question you need to ask is what do I need and am I taking an SO with me. I have 4000 miles on mine and the only thing I have done is engine guard and isogrips with throttle boss. 3 day change of clothes, repair kit and a roll consisting of sleeping bag and tent across the rear seat and bags and I am good to go.
I have seen others with batwing farings and tour pak on theirs, so that might be the way to go, if you ride 2 up. Plenty of power so you don't really need the pc and pipes but what the hey, its your bike ride it like you want.
ISO Grips dig into your hands on longer rides Nope not at all, not even close. Therere also available in chrome.
I like the looks of those black grips perryross. I am probably one of the few that thinks it's easy to "over chrome" a bike. Of course, I'm not a fan of the blacked out ones either.
Too bad it's not easier to try various grips. Gluing that left one on pretty much commits you to writing off the money spent if you don't happen to care for them.

instead of glueing use hair spray.. they wont move and all it takes to remove them is an air compressor with needle tip
