Checked my plugs today after riding around for a bit and letting the motor cool. The ground electrodes are white but the rest of the plug is a normal looking sooty black. Should I be concerned?

White or tan?...run a little lean anyway..computer should compensate..any pinging?
Congrats on making your Harley sound like one. I finally got around to it too. What a difference! I did V&H 3" slip ons, SE stage 1 air and went with the Street Performance Tuner. The SE Pro Tuner messes with the warranty and I don't need the headache.
I do get a bit of popping on decel but I can live with it.
From all the comments I've seen around here you don't need to mess with the AFR because of adding slip ons. Everyone says if you change incoming and outgoing air then you need to do something. If you're happy with it the way it is cool. If you want more there's always someone willing to sell you something to make it either look better, sound better or run better.
Thanks PatrickD. Digging deeper I've found that Rush recommends the 2.25" baffle for the 2011 Wide glide and Fat Bob because of the cat in the head pipe. That being said, they also recommend fuel management for their slip ons over 2" baffle. I'm currently communicating with Fuel Moto about getting a PCV and AN BS. Might as well go all out and rather do it myself than feed the machine at HD. Cheers..

Congrats on the new ride and thanks for choosing Rush. We recommend the 2.25" for the 2011 wide glide with stock engines and headpipes (there is a catalytic converter in the headpipe). No tuning is required with the 2.25" baffle size, the bike will tune back to stock settings. In my opinion there will not be huge benefits from adding the high flow air filter and tuner because the catalytic converter will still limit the flow of the exhaust. Also if the a/f is richer then more unburnt fuel will hit the converter and cause it to burn hotter. It's kind of a double edged sword. I've read on the forum members advising to just do the slip ons and run them or save up for a full system and then do the tuner and air filter. To each their own and there is tons of information you can find with some quick searches. Let me know if I can provide any specific info.
