id say 12s but i have 13 in carlinis that are really 16 after the risers and i love them. and i am about 5'10.

I am 5'11" and have been running 18s since 06,Keep in mind you can always adjust them ( pull back or push forward).

so after reading this thread the OP is no better off....

There are people saying get 12's get 14's get 16's...

OP....Gotta do what works for you...We can't tell you what to put on your bike...Just ogtta try it and see what happens.

Here are a couple of shots of Burly narrows straight on. I think they match up quite well. Of course I'm biased since this is my bike. I'm not a fan of apes that are wider than the front end though.

I have had 12 and 14 inch apes on different bikes . it totally depends on which bike you have . Not all bars fit the same from bike to bike. i have wild one chubby outlawz in 12 on my street bob and I must say that the 12's handle way better than any other height bar I have had . No front or rear end wobble of any kind at low or high speed. These things handle like drag bars and are way comfortable. I am 5 foot 9 and a half and I have long arms. 12's work great for me. I like to look of 14's better but I think the handling would not be so great with the higher bars.

I'm 6' and have 16" on my '12 Street Bob.I think 14" would be comftable for for you and look very cool.
